In case you didn't see it for yourself

Pumping out the Midwest's best at Boyne Highlands! The season kicked off this past weekend with spectacular conditions.

Take a look at this pic.  No, it's not a mirage in the desert and it's not some Photoshop masterpiece.  Go ahead, pinch yourself, but this isn't a dream Dorothy and you're not in Kansas. This is straight from camera to computer.

Hopefully, you are reading this with moderately sore legs and a satisfied smile after a weekend of eating it up. If not, don't kick yourself, just consider yourself served.  Here you can see evidence that all that talk about snowmaking wasn't just talk.  Hard work and unmatched infrastructure allow BOYNE to turn a fortuitous dip in temperature into a field of dreams.

"Is this heaven"

"No it's Iowa."

No, actually it's BOYNE.

This is one of the best early-season weather patterns for snowmaking that we've seen in years and nobody is better prepared to take advantage of it. This great cold snap hasn't dropped a lot of snow on its own, so don't think you can find conditions like this anywhere.

Break out those boards and help yourself.  It isn't early season for long and the bragging rights are here for the taking.

The snowmaking crews are continuing to bust a move, so things will only be better by the weekend.

We'll see you out there...right?
