Look At This Window – Not Out Yours

For us “up north” locals, it’s a bit of sick amusement – many times having the lift line (or rather, lack thereof) and the pristine slopes largely to ourselves. And knowing that it’s only that way thanks to the fact that people who live more than 20 miles south make assumptions about our snow conditions based on theirs.

 

In the early days of Michigan skiing - what with black and white TV and, no doubt, less thorough weather reporting - one could excuse this. But now . . . well it’s the Information Age, right? And you’re proving it by the fact that you’re reading this.

 

So forget the fact that beyond your living room window your yard is a dried-up shade of green. At the BOYNES, while our yard is usually white, our slopes are always white. Here’s a photo to prove it – and you can check the web cams for more instantaneous proof.
