If you haven’t caught her by now, let me introduce you to a soon-to-be pop micro-culture icon.  Dana of the BOYNE Glide Report gives a weekly video detailing the happenings around BOYNE.  She brings a friendly girl-next-door presence that I haven’t seen since the Belle Tire girl.

If you followed the Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup runs through the late 90’s you would know about the Belle Tire girl.  Ask any Red Wings fan and you’ll get a reaction about the tire chain’s fresh-faced pitch person. As the years rolled on she grew in stature to become a local icon.  Hockey fans were heard asking each other if she was single and mothers were heard asking sons “Why can’t you meet someone nice like her?”. With time she had grown into the next incarnation of Gilligan’s Island’s Mary Ann.

The BOYNE Glide Report is a worthy distraction and I think Dana has the same qualities that made the Belle Tire girl something bigger.  Check in weekly to keep tabs on BOYNE’s goings-on and watch our new grass-roots celebrity.  Who knows? Maybe one day you’ll say you knew her when…
