Cartoon Network "Get Animated" Tour 2008

In its fourth year, the Get Animated Tour is a pro-social, pro-lifestyle program designed to motivate, energize and educate kids, ages 6-11, about healthy living choices.  This summer, the mobile tour will embark across the country once again and includes only one stop in Michigan - Boyne Mountain!  The fun and exciting games feature Cartoon Network's favorite animated characters and encourage kids to use their mind, body and imagination to get up, "GET ANIMATED and exercise your right to play!"

Event activities will include a kickball station, tennis challenge, obstacle course, bicycle race, bowling challenge and limbo competition.  All activities will be themed around Cartoon Network’s line-up of original cartoon series including Ben 10: Alien Force, Camp Lazlo, Chowder, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and My Gym Partner’s a Monkey. Launched in February 2005, Cartoon Network’s GET ANIMATED provides on-air, online, print and off-channel programs to teach children the value of a healthy lifestyle that includes regular exercise, good eating and helping others. 

The event is from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m and is free to the public.
