2nd Annual Boyne 2 Boyne Marathon

9/28/08
Boyne Highlands Resort to Boyne Mountain Resort

Not yet as legendary as the Boston Marathon, the Boyne 2 Boyne marathon is a qualify event to take you there (certification number MI 07026 SH).

Last year, participant reviews were fabulous and we thank you for your feedback.  Based on your feedback, we have made some minor changes to the weekend and event activities.

- Day before registration and packet-pickup will ALL occur at Boyne Mountain Resort, in the lower level of the Civic Center.

- ALL award ceremonies will commence following the completion of each participant event.  The ceremonies will take place at Boyne Mountain near the finish chute.  Plan on joining in on the outdoor BBQ this year!

- ALL course mile markers will be visible and will also include the split for half marathon participants to gauge their time.

- The course(s) will remain the same - challenging yet worth the spectacular views along Little Traverse Bay, Bear River and Walloon Lake!!

- We promise to have the same enthusiastic volunteers on the course again for 2008! Thank you for the compliments!!

Taking place in beautiful northern Michigan, the course travels from Boyne Highlands  in Harbor Springs to Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls.  Enjoy the area's most coveted views as you race along the shores of Little Traverse Bay, Bear River and Walloon Lake, creating the most scenic marathon in the Midwest!
