MLK Ski Weekend at Boyne Mountain

The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday is fast approaching and what better way to celebrate than at Boyne Mountain for the annual ski weekend!  The weekend event runs from Friday, January 16 - Monday, January 19, 2009 and will feature non-stop skiing and parties.  Participants are coming from all parts of the United States and Canada to experience this annual extravaganza. Great people, great resort, and a great time!  All events are open to the public.

Schedule of events include:

Friday:
Welcome reception: 8 p.m. -11 p.m.
Location: Matterhorn Civic Center

Saturday:
Skiing: Noon-9 p.m.
Location: Boyne Mountain slopes

Happy Hour: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. featuring NFL Playoffs, card tournament and 2009 Snow Bunny awards
Location: Alpine Room - Clock Tower Lodge

Pajama Party (wear your PJs!): 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. with entertainment provided by national performing artist DJ Phreeze.
Location: Matterhorn - Civic Center

Fireworks!: Starting at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Sunday:
Skiing: Noon - 9 p.m.
Location: Boyne Mountain slopes

Happy Hour: 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. featuring NFL Playoffs

Ski-Tee Shirt Party (wear your ski t-shirt!): 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. with entertainment provided by metro Detroit's own DJ Kutz.
