There’s no better way to experience the beauty of northern Michigan.  For $175 per person* this spa package includes a group trail hike to appreciate the beauty of the fall color, a boxed lunch, a 2.5 hour rafting trip across the Sturgeon river, a trip guide, transportation to the event, and your choice of one 50-minute spa treatment.  

The Sturgeon is the fastest river in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula descending almost 14 feet per mile.  Considered a premier trout stream, the crystal-clear river winds through the beautiful state forest.

Our rafts provide the ultimate in stability, made of extremely durable Hypalon, these are the same rafts as used on major whitewater rivers.  Rafts are spacious, relaxing, comfortable, and a great "team booster" as well as decreasing your chance of accidentally getting wet.  Each raft can accommodate a minimum of 3-persons and a maximum of 7-persons.

For $233 per person** you will receive everything listed above plus one night's lodging at the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa with breakfast the following morning.  Stay either Friday, October 9 or Saturday, October 10.  Feel free to upgrade your package by adding an additional night's lodging and enjoy the entire weekend.

Itinerary (time estimate):

Saturday

8:45am:   Arrive to Solace Spa to register

9:00am:   Shuttle departs from Solace Spa to Trail Head

9:30am - 11:00am:  Warm-up stretches and about 75 minute hike to breathtaking panoramic view

11:00am:  We leave the forest and travel to raft livery

12:30pm - 3:45pm:  Adventure on Sturgeon River (we stop midway for lunch picnic)

5:00pm:  Arrival back to the Hotel.

Note:  Spa appointments can be scheduled anytime Friday, after 5:30pm Saturday, or anytime Sunday.
