BOYNE Junior Elite Program
Designed for the competitive minded golfer, the BOYNE Junior Elite Program at Boyne Highlands is a program that teaches juniors the fundamentals of competitive golf. Designed for young golfers from 9-19 years of age, the program will introduce golfers to high end training methods, on course play, competitions, and the development of friends for life. Instruction is provided by our talented Boyne Golf Academy teaching staff, including PGA professionals Brian O’Neill, Steve Good & Barry Redmond.
The Junior Elite Golf Program includes:
- 3 Private one hour golf lessons per month from June-September with one of the PGA instructors on the Boyne Junior Elite staff
- 16 two-hour supervised group training/practice sessions
- Overall assessments using 3-D Motion analysis & high speed video
- Use of all academy ranges and instructional facilities 7-days a week
- A walking membership for each member
on the Moor golf course Sunday-Thursday after 3:00pm
- On course training / simulated on course situational training
- Competitive preparation training
- Technology training and club fitting with Track Man and SAM Putt Lab
- Assistance with tournament schedules
- Building a playing resume to prepare for the college recruitment process
2012 Dates:
- Group practice sessions are held every Friday & Saturday from 2-4pm starting June 16 through August 6
- Private golf lessons are booked as available through the instructors from June through September
Rates:
This is an elite level camp that will provide your junior golfer with hundreds of hours of instruction and training. Altogether, this program has a value of about $12,000. However, the cost per junior for the 2012 season is $1,700.
