Pilates Circuit Location: Solace Spa at Boyne Mountain Course cost: $125 (Solace Spa Members); $225 (Non-Members) Sue Engstrom teaches this 4 week course (2 days/week) where you will learn how to use Pilates principles with all of your activities. Focus will be on Pilates core strength using the Pilates equipment (reformer, cadillac, ladder barrel, chair) as well as floor, interval heart rate challenges, and functional movements to challenge all muscle groups. This program is limited to a maximum of 4 participants, allowing you to receive personal instruction from the trainer. Northern Michigan Spas donate over $10,000 to Habitat for Humanity BOYNE Spas and the Northern Michigan Spa Tour recently raised and donated over $10,000 to benefit Habitat for Humanity. The funds will be shared with six area Habitat Affiliates including Antrim County, Benzie County, Gladwin County, Grand Traverse Region, Northwest Michigan, and Otsego County. The spas donated a portion of their sales from a week of fundraising October 3 through 9, 2011. It was an opportunity for people to relax, feel great, and raise dollars all at the same time.
