Biking at Boyne Highlands
Boyne Highlands
Spring Update:
In addition to clearing trails for our mid-May opening, our dedicated bike staff has developed two new intermediate downhill bike trails for 2012. They have also been busy re-fabricating features to increase the variety in our Bike Park and improve the flow or your ride! Plus we have added new bike racks and upgraded the chairlift racks. Details are being finalized for a June 9th event that will kick off our summer season! Please check back for details...
There is plenty of variety at Boyne Highlands for all types of riders. . . Recreational riders can tour the resort property on the lightly trafficked roads through its various neighborhoods and along the courses. Cross country mountain bikers can enjoy the scenic views offered on our trails or ride the chairlift and challenging themselves on our rolling
downhill runs. Aggressive riders are able to tackle Boyne Highlands' extreme terrain and jumps in lower Michigan's only lift served Bike Park! Modeled after the popular North Shore designs of the upper Northwest and Vancouver areas, the park features naturally cut trails with banked turns, heart-stopping jumps and narrow passages requiring expert maneuvering. Check out the park and trails map and if not sure you're up for the adrenaline rush, view a little footage from the Boyne Highlands Bike Park in our video gallery. You're also sure to enjoy the Zoo-De-Mackinac, a great biking weekend that takes place every year at Boyne Highlands.
