Fishing

The quality of fishing was one of the features that brought the founder of BOYNE, Everett Kircher, to northern Michigan. Take a charter out on Lake Michigan for great salmon fishing, or rent a boat for excellent bass and trout fishing in one of the many inland lakes. If you prefer fly fishing, then head out to the Bear River, The Ausable River, or head up to Sturgeon Bay.

Check with our Guest Services staff at Boyne Highlands on using cane poles to catch Rainbow Trout in our ponds.  Fun for the whole family.
