Complimentary Putting + Short Game Clinic on Tuesdays
June 15 - August 31
Boyne Highlands lodging guests are invited to join for a complimentary 45 minute Putting + Short Game Clinic each Tuesday, 6 - 6:45pm. Staged on the resort’s putting course located at the Main Lodge, our highly qualified Boyne Golf Academy instructors provide tips on stroke and technique. Each week’s clinic includes a brief putting competition with the winner receiving a small prize. Beverage service is available to participants during the clinic as well. Guests should bring their putter and short irons. Clubs may be borrowed but supply is limited.
Wine Tasting on Thursdays
June 17 - September 9
Join us on Thursday evenings from 6 - 8pm on the Slopeside Patio for a wine tasting and live music. Must be 21 or older to participate.
Complimentary Fly Casting Clinics on Thursdays
Offered 6-8pm on Thursdays, instructors are on-site to work directly with any and all ages interested in learning. What's best? Registration is entirely free of charge and participants are actually casting to fish! The pond is stocked annually with trout and we're excited to invite you to start catching them.
Introduction to fly fishing and free casting lessons are offered during the summer season. Guests should arrive just prior to start time for either of the two one-hour sessions offered. All necessary equipment is provided.

Free Family Movie Night on Fridays
Not sure what to do after a day full of fun and exciting activities? No need to end the night early on a Friday... join us on the Main Lodge lawn at dusk for a family friendly movie and enjoy complimentary popcorn.
Complimentary Live Birds of Prey Program on Saturdays
June 19 - September 12
Join us every Saturday at 7pm when local experts from SEE-North present this very unique program. Gather the family on the lawn near the Lakeside Pond for evening entertainment featuring live birds of prey. Our friends from SEE-North present a different main topic each week and this program is complimentary to all lodging guests, members and owners. For more information, please call 231.348.9700. The cost is $5 per adult and $3 for children ages 5 - 17. Children under five the admission is free.
Free Bonfire & S'mores on Saturdays
Join us at the Main Lodge around the firepit every Saturday evening, 7-10pm and for warm and delicious s'mores by the fire. This is also the ideal place to simply relax and spend time with family.

Free Fishing and Fun on Mondays
Experience summer vacations in northern Michigan at their finest... fishing has always been a favorite pastime at Boyne Mountain and we want to share the experience with you! With live bait and fishing poles provided, meet at the pond between 7 and 9pm.
Free Game Night on Tuesdays
Compete for the championship in Fritz's Olympics, excelling in family oriented games such as bocce ball and the classic bean bag toss on the lawn outside the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa, 7-9pm.
Complimentary Dam Tour on Wednesdays
Learn about and see some of the area's magnificent wildlife and take in the picturesque landscape of the Boyne River! Learn the Boyne River Dam's history, how it's presence helped power the entire town of Boyne City and its current contribution to Boyne Mountain's commitment to environmental responsibility. Shuttle departs from the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa at 7pm.
Free Hayrides Thursdays - Saturdays
Enjoy fun filled evenings with your family while touring Boyne Mountain on an old fashioned hayride. Take a break at the Hemlock chairlift and enjoy a scenic ride to the mountain's top. Rides are offered 7-9pm.

What to do after a great day on the beach, in the park and on the course? Well, it's outdoor movie time every Saturday night at Boyne Mountain. Join us for a family-oriented movie shown on the big screen located at the base of the Hemlock lift. Complimentary popcorn and water is served, movie begins at 9:30pm.
