Wine Tasting on Thursdays
Beginning May 31 , 2013
Join us on Thursday evenings from 6 - 9pm on the Slopeside Patio for a wine tasting with the music of Nelson Olstrom. Must be 21 or older to participate.
Complimentary Fly Casting Clinics on Thursdays

Offered 6-8pm on Thursdays, instructors are on-site to work directly with any and all ages interested in learning. What's best? Registration is entirely free of charge and participants are actually casting to fish! The pond is stocked annually with trout and we're excited to invite you to start catching them.
Introduction to fly fishing and free casting lessons are offered during the summer season. Guests should arrive just prior to start time for either of the two one-hour sessions offered. All necessary equipment is provided.

Free Family Movie Night on Fridays

Not sure what to do after a day full of fun and exciting activities? No need to end the night early on a Friday... join us on the Main Lodge lawn at dusk for a family friendly movie and enjoy complimentary popcorn.
Free Bonfire & S'mores on Saturdays
Beginning Spring, 2013
Join us at the Main Lodge around the firepit every Saturday evening, 7 - 10pm and for warm and delicious s'mores by the fire. This is also the ideal place to simply relax and spend time with family.

Fly Fishing Instruction
If you have never experienced the thrill of fly casting, now is your opportunity! The pond at Boyne Mountain Resort is stocked annually with trout and we're excited to invited you to start catching them. Many know the thrill of catching a fish and there's nothing like seeing a child's face light up when he/she snags their first. Try landing one on a fly and see what happens! All necessary equipment is provided.
What you can expect to see, hear, and learn:
- Casting (all levels of skill from beginner to expert)
- Tying knots
- Which flies to use
- Places to fish
- General history of the sport and fishing in our area
Offered Friday and Saturday from 4pm-8pm throughout the summer season. Complimentary to guests, however please call BOYNE Outfitters to make reservations.
Fishing and Fun
Experience summer vacations in northern Michigan at their finest! Fishing has always been a favorite pastime at Boyne Mountain Resort and we want to share that experience with you. With all necessary equipment provided, meet at the pond between 6pm-8pm on Monday evenings throughout the summer season. No reservations required.
Complimentary Dam Tour on Sundays
Learn about and see some of the area's magnificent wildlife and take in the picturesque landscape of the Boyne River! Learn the Boyne River Dam's history, how it's presence helped power the entire town of Boyne City and its current contribution to Boyne Mountain's commitment to environmental responsibility. Nature hike is approximately one mile on wooded trail along Boyne River. Closed toe shoes required. Long pants and insect repellant recommended. Terrain difficulty is easy-to-moderate. Shuttle departs from the Boyne Mountain Adventure Center at 6:30pm.
Free Game and Treats Night on Tuesdays
Enjoy family oriented games such as ladder ball and classic bean bag toss on the lawn outside the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa followed by a camp fire and yummy s'mores, 6-9pm.
Free Hayrides Fridays & Saturdays
Enjoy fun filled evenings with your family while touring Boyne Mountain on an old fashioned hayride. Take a break at the Hemlock chairlift and enjoy a scenic ride to the mountain's top. Rides are offered 6-9pm.
Free Bonfire & S'mores on Fridays & Saturdays
Relax by the bonfire on Friday and Saturday nights, 6-9pm, and make your own yummy s’mores! The bonfire is located on the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa lawn and the area is a great spot for watching the zipliners come in for landing.
Free Family Movie Night on Fridays & Saturdays
What to do after a great day on the beach, in the park and on the course? Well, it's movie time every Friday and Saturday night at Boyne Mountain. Join us for a family-oriented movie shown on the big screen located inside the Geneva Room. Movie begins at 8pm.
