Guided Trail Rides

Guided horseback trail rides and pony rides for the young ones are now offered at the new Boyne Mountain Stables. Stables are located off the resort's Deer Lake Road, on Reserve Drive next to the red barn.

  • One hour rides - $49 per person
  • Two hour ride - $84 per person; offered Friday, May 25 - Monday, September 3, 6 - 8pm
  • Riders must be at least 7 years of age
  • Children must be able to sit unassisted on a horse
  • Waivers must be signed by all riders or by parent/guardian if 17 or younger

Spring 2012 Horseback Hours (through Thursday, May 24)
Daily Departing at 11am, 12:30pm, 2pm and 3:30pm

Summer 2012 Horseback Hours: Friday, May 25 - Monday, September 3
Tuesday - Sunday One hour rides: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm
Two hour ride: 6 - 8pm

Fall 2012 Horseback Hours* after September 4th
Thursday - Sunday One hour rides:11am, 1pm and 4pm

Merry-Go-Round Pony Rides

  • 10 minute ride: $10 per person
  • Riders must be at least 4 years of age
  • Waivers must be signed by all riders or by parent/guardian if 17 or younger
  • Pony rides take place near the Adventure Center at Boyne Mountain

Fall Color Tour Horseback Trail Riding Adventure

Enjoy a 90 minute scenic fall color ride which includes a snack stop at a panoramic lookout point over Deer Lake and the Boyne Valley.

  • $60 per person

*Additional rides for four or more may be scheduled by appointment.

Winter Trail Rides are also offered at Boyne Mountain!

Arrival

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled ride time for proper helmet fitting and completion of waiver and release forms.  This ensures that the ride begins on time.

Dress

Trail riders are advised to wear long pants and closed-toe/heel shoes.  Athletic shoes are acceptable but a leather shoe with a heel is best.  Each rider is required to wear a helmet which will be provided.  Riders wearing shorts and/or sandals may be asked to reschedule.

Cancellation

We must enforce a 24-hour cancellation policy.  Reservations canceled within 24 hours of ride are charged 50% of the price of their scheduled ride. No shows are charged the full price of their scheduled ride.
