Snowshoeing is an excellent workout and a great way to spend time with the family. W
hether you plan on jogging through pine forests frosted in white, or taking the whole group out to explore the scenic natural surroundings, BOYNE has the equipment and the knowledge to size up the equipment to make sure everyone has a great time.
A new exclusive snowshoe loop measuring 4 km is being track-set at Boyne Highlands this winter. This snowshoe-only trail departs from the Cross Country Center and heads towards open terrain before leading into a beautiful wonderland of mature spruce and pine hardwoods loaded with nature galore. There is also a second loop measuring at 4.8 km. The snowshoeing is free.
Boyne Highlands also offers 35 km of diverse skill-level terrain for snowshoeing, cross country and skate skiing enthusiasts. A variety of Tubbs Snowshoes are available for rent in children and adult sizes.
