Group Lessons

Learning how to ski or snowboard as a group is more fun than going out alone.

Laugh, fall down, throw a little snow, learn a lot, and by the end of the session you will have a great experience to last a lifetime.

BOYNE offers many different group learning experiences from a simple lesson to multiple sessions to night rides and family adventures. 

Group Ski & Snowboard Lessons

  • $39 per person

Our two-hour group lessons are for those who are new to the sport, intermediates looking to improve technique or experts looking to tune up on specific terrain. Students are grouped by ability and age (7 and up for snowboard) to maximize the learning curve and they will enjoy the support, camaraderie and group dynamics of this learning environment.

Lesson Times: Daily at 10:00 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Super Saver Group Ski & Snowboard Lesson

Combine and save! Ages 13 and up

  • 2  two-hour sessions $65 per person
  • 4 two-hour sessions $90 per person

Group Learn to Ski or Snowboard GUARANTEED

  • $51 per person

There is no better place than BOYNE's northern Michigan ski resorts to learn to ski or ride. We guarantee that you will be turning and stopping by the end of your two-hour group lesson or we will give you an additional group lesson at no charge.

Guaranteed Learn to Ski applies to ages 9 and up (ski) and 7 and up (snowboard). Reservations recommended. Beginner area Lift ticket and all day rental equipment are included.

Group "Night Ride"

  • $38 per person

For our night owl riders, this learn to snowboard program is for novices to learn a variety of skills such as steering, edging, and speed control. Beginner area lift ticket and equipment included.

Lesson Times: Every Wednesday and Friday from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 

Please note: Must sign up by 4:30p.m. Minimum of three persons required, otherwise lesson will be converted to a one hour private lesson at no additional charge. Reservations recommended.

Family Adventure Lesson

  • $164 up to 4 people

Let the BOYNE Pros take you on a private group lesson with your family! We will cater this session to your family's specific needs and goals. This guided discovery will help you to explore the mountain and enjoy these activities as a family. We will make sure you have the experience of a lifetime.
