Our SnowSports Academies have teamed with Burton to offer snowboarders the latest in equipment and instruction to make learning to ride easier than ever. Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain are proud to have been chosen by Burton as the only Learn to Ride Centers in the eastern Great Lakes Region, offering both adult and kids programs.

Burton Learn To Ride Teen & Adult Programs

In it's second season at BOYNE, this is much more than your normal two hour lesson.  New snowboarders are provided with with Burton gear designed to enhance the experience, as well as teaching methods to make for an enjoyable and successful first day. The equipment for beginners is tailored to maximize each individual's learning potential and smaller class sizes mean more individualized attention. BOYNE also includes it's Learn to Ride Guarantee, all day equipment rental and a beginner area lift ticket for the day with this lesson.
