Kids Snowboard Camp: Ages 7-12

Introduce your child to a wintertime sport that can last a lifetime. They'll join Fritz, Sam and their friends of the forest for an interactive experience.  Our Kid's Camp is about more than just improving their snowboarding skills. They will make friends and gain confidence in their new abilities. With new skills and improved confidence, every run will be more fun as you try to keep up.

Burton Learn To Ride Lesson Packages

New this season, this is much more than your normal two hour lesson.  New snowboarders are provided with with Burton gear designed to enhance the experience, as well as teaching methods to make for an enjoyable and successful first day. The equipment for beginners is tailored to maximize each individual's learning potential and smaller class sizes mean more individualized attention. BOYNE also includes it's Learn to Ride Guarantee, all day equipment rental and a beginner area lift ticket for the day with this lesson.

Kid's Snowboard Camp

If your child is 7 years old and eager to snowboard, they are ready for the Kid's Snowboard Camp. The program develops riding skills and builds confidence through innovative teaching techniques in a fun and playful environment. Reservations are requested.

Camp Details

• Sign up starts at 8:30 a.m. in the Skiers Services Center at Boyne Mountain or in the lobby of the main lodge at Boyne Highlands.
• Rental - If renting equipment, please plan to arrive one hour before camp starts.
• Lunch - The kids eat lunch with their instructor from Noon to 12:30 p.m. They may choose from a great buffet selection. 
• Activities - After lunch from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. the kids may join our activities which consist of fun and games, arts and crafts, watching children's movies or have some rest time until the afternoon lessons resume.
• Racing - Thursday is Race Day for those enrolled in the Kids Camp. Trophies and medals will be given at the Awards Presentation. 
  

Private Snowboard Lesson

Snowboarders get maximum benefit as our teaching pros develop specific lessons to meet your needs and goals. Personalized attention leads to rapid improvement. Reservations are recommended. Lift tickets for the beginner areas are available at no cost.
