Trying a snowsport for the first time or is what you own from decades past? The right skis and boots or snowboard undoubtedly make the experience easier and more enjoyable for all ability levels. Toddler to adult, the rental shop team can get you properly equipped to make the most of your time on the snow.
NEW FOR 2011/12
Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain each purchased 400 new pairs of HEAD LINK skis. These progressive skis feature MultiRadius and MultiCamber construction and are shaped with an early rise in the tips and tails, making it easier to initiate turns and providing better edge hold while skiing.
State-of-the-Art-Rental Shops
The ski and snowboard systems in BOYNE's rental shops are designed for quick set-up. Launched last season and combined with BOYNE's state-of-the art electronic on-site registration, renting equipment is more convenient than ever before. A driver’s license, credit card or $300 cash deposit is required to rent equipment.

Snowboard Rental
Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain offer the latest in snowboard rental equipment from Burton. Burton boots are extremely comfortable, the bindings are easy to use, and our fleet of Burton LTR (Learn To Ride) snowboards reduce unexpected hang-ups and make riding easier than ever. Our staff will assist you with proper sizing of the boots and snowboard as well as adjusting the bindings for stance.
Ski Rental
Rental shops at Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain exclusively offer HEAD BYS skis and boots for adults. The boots are designed with comfort in mind, while the Alpine skis are slightly wider for better stability and their "shaped" design makes turning easier than ever before. A full range of junior equipment is available and our team is trained to ensure the ideal fit for young skiers. Cross country skis and snowshoes are available for rent at the Cross Country Center at each resort.

Helmet Rental
Helmet usage is encouraged but not required at at Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. Helmet rentals are available on a first come, first served basis, but are not included in rental packages. Helmet rental is $12 for the first day and $6 for each additional day.
Plan ahead with Express Rental
With an advance reservation at our off-property Boyne Country Sports stores, your rental equipment will be waiting for you at Boyne Highlands or Boyne Mountain. Skip the time required to get fitted for and obtain rental equipment... simply pick up your gear and hit the slopes! Register for Express Rental at our Boyne Country Sports locations (Bloomfield Hills, Novi, and Traverse City). Get properly sized at those locations, pay at the store and your equipment will be awaiting your arrival at either resort. Registration must be done 48 hours in advance. Due to sizing concerns, Express Rental is not available for helmets.
