Biking

For two-wheel enthusiasts, there's no better way to experience the fun of Boyne Highlands than from the seat of a bicycle. And with more than 4,000 acres of grounds - and dozens of miles of trails - the opportunities for exploration are nearly endless for riders of all ages, and all abilities.

Our Bike Park has been recognized among the top parks in North America for the past four years, with a second place ranking in the Midwest last year, by MTBParks.com.

We enjoy introducing new riders to our trail system with complimentary guided bike rides. The guided rides will provide both novice and experienced riders with the confidence they need to have fun while enjoying our network of trails.

The Bike Park will open for the 2017 season Saturday, May 27 and will operate Saturdays and Sundays only until June 11. Full operations will begin Wednesday, June 14.

*Bike Park access is free to resort lodging guests and all BOYNE winter season pass holders. Weather permitting.

Save time at registration and complete your Bike Trail/Bike Rental Release before you arrive!

Cross Country Cross Country

For bikers who appreciate the path less-traveled, our cross country mountain bike trails offer a direct line to the heart of our lush, beautiful resort property. Whether you choose to take it slow and absorb your surroundings, or to speed things up for a satisfying workout in a spectacular setting, our trail network offers just what you're looking for.

Freeride/Bike Park Freeride/Bike Park

For riders with an appetite for challenging terrain, our freeride trails - modeled after the popular North Shore designs of the upper Northwest and Vancouver areas - will find more than enough excitement to suit their taste. Designed with naturally-cut trails, banked turns, adrenaline-pumping jumps and narrow single tracks, the terrain is both challenging and accessible, making it perfect for skilled riders, and those just learning the ropes.

Skills Park Skills Park

Our biking Skills Park gives new and novice mountain bikers access to both freeride and downhill elements - making it possible to hone skills before hitting the trails for more. After spending time on elements like our flow track with berms, rollers, skinny bridges, a teeter-totter, ladder features and small drops, you'll be ready to head out and take on the big stuff with new confidence.
