The First Tee of Northern Michigan

9 core values. 9 healthy habits. And a lifetime of fun.

The First Tee Program is designed to provide a fun, engaging golf atmosphere for children aged 5 and older. During these popular courses, trained coaches and volunteers integrate Nine Core Values (honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, respect, confidence, responsibility, perseverance, courtesy and judgment) along with Nine Healthy Habits into the lifelong game of golf - helping to perpetuate traditions that have long served the Boyne Highlands golfing community.

The program enrolls children in Certifying Classes, allowing for a natural progression from one level to the next. As students gain experience, they move from Player to Par to Birdie to Eagle - accumulating confidence along the way. Students may enroll in multiple sessions and camps. From Girls Golf to Travel League, The First Tee offers an array of opportunities to enhance golfers of all levels. The 2016 Schedule will be available this spring!
