Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain Opening Slopes Thanksgiving Day

This Thanksgiving, carve some turkey and then carve the slopes of Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain!  The two sister resorts, located about 45-minutes apart, will both offer skiing and snowboarding for the holiday weekend.  The Heather trail is opening at Boyne Highlands Resort in Harbor Springs, and three runs are opening at Boyne Mountain Resort based in Boyne Falls - Hemlock, Pierson, and Victor.

Slopes will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 27 with lift service on Heather Express at Boyne Highlands and Hemlock at Boyne Mountain.  Boyne Highlands is offering an all ages ticket for $35.  Lift ticket prices at Boyne Mountain are $30 for Juniors ages 6-12, $34 for teens ages 13-18, and $39 for adults.

With the quick turn to wintery weather, the resorts utilized the proprietary Boyne Low-E fan guns and started making snow on Saturday, Nov. 19.

After this weekend, the resorts will close the slopes midweek to resume snowmaking at every opportunity with plans to reopen next weekend.

Resort amenities including lodging, equipment rental, food and beverage, and more are also available.

Hours of operation are weather dependent.  For the latest updates and reports on snow conditions, event information, and lodging packages, visit or call 866.759.3530 or or call 866.759.1472.
