Season Pass FAQs

Which season pass has the most flexibility to ski or ride?
The Premium Pass has the most flexibility.
I prefer to ski/ride at times when the resorts are not busy, what type of season pass should I purchase?
The Classic Pass and Northern Lights & Nights passes are designed for those people who prefer to ski/ride at non-peak times.
How much time will it take for you to process my pass?
Times vary based on surges and busy times. We try to have passes processed as quickly as possible.
When does night skiing/riding begin?
Night sessions are scheduled to begin December 26* and run through holiday break. After holiday break, night sessions are offered Wednesday - Saturday, 5-9pm. *Starting date may vary depending on weather.
Will I receive any retail discounts?
Yes, there is a 15% retail discount with the Premium Pass and some of the combined BOYNE passes also offer a discount.
What is the First Tracks Membership?
As a Premium passholder, you’re a member of the First Tracks Club! On weekends and holidays beginning December 26, the Heather Express chairlift at Boyne Highlands will be open at 8:30am for First Track Club members. (Subject to change based on availability)
Can I earn Boyne Rewards points?
Yes, simply provide your Boyne Rewards account number when purchasing your pass either online or at the season pass office.
Where are the season pass offices located?
During the winter season, the season pass office is located at the day skier lodge near SnowSports Academy, Thursday - Monday. At other times, the Main Lodge front desk can be utilized.
What are the hours of the season pass office?
The season pass office hours are normally 9am-5pm. These times can vary throughout the season, please call 231.526.3121 to verify before visiting.
How do I contact the season pass office?
You may contact the season pass office at Boyne Highlands by calling 231.526.3121 or emailing spo@boynehighlands.com.
Where do I find the season pass application and once completed, where do I send it?
Season pass and layaway applications are on our website at boynehighlands.com. Upon completion, email your application to the season pass office at spo@boynehighlands.com bring to Boyne Highlands.
How does layaway work?
You can purchase a season pass during early season sales and pay monthly until the season begins. You’ll need to fill out a layaway application located at boynehighlands.com or at the season pass office.
Do any passes include tubing?
A separate tubing add-on is available for an additional rate for the BOYNE Silver and Boyne Highlands Premium passes.
How is age determined?
For purchases through October 31, age will be determined by the passholder’s age as of November 1. For purchases beginning November 1, age will be determined by the age of the passholder on the date of purchase.
Are there additional benefits and restrictions in certain age categories?
Children ages 8 and under who participate in Boyne Country Sports “Junior Has-A-Fit Program” (or a SnowSports Academy season-long program) are eligible to purchase a BOYNE Playground Pass. Seniors age 70 + who were BOYNE active passholders during the 2013/14 season are eligible to purchase a BOYNE Active Pass so long as they continue to do so yearly.
Can my credit card be linked with my pass?
Charging privileges are available with a valid credit card and signature on file, maximum limit $750. Delinquent charges will be applied to your valid credit card. Some restrictions apply.
Does my pass afford me lodging discounts?
Some passes include discounted lodging (up to 20% off regular rates), only when reservations are booked within 7 days of arrival. Some blackout dates and restrictions may apply.
Which recreation centers are available to me as a pass holder?
Recreational facilities include all pools and fitness centers at Boyne Highlands, excluding the Heather Highlands Inn pool – but only for certain passes that come with extra benefits.
What is Boyne Highlands’ policy should I lose my season pass?
There is a replacement fee of $50 for lost season passes.
Can I keep my season pass photo from a previous season and if not, how do I obtain a new one?
Returning passholders must have a new photo taken every 2 years. New pass applicants can visit the season pass office to have their photo taken or email the season pass office at spo@boynehighlands.com to send a new photo.
What is the refund policy should I be injured, no longer interested, or otherwise incapable to use my pass?
Refunds will be allowed prior to the first day of skiing or the first day of usage (whichever is first), minus a $50 per pass administrative fee. Season passes after the first day of skiing then become non-transferable and non-refundable.
