At Boyne Mountain, skiing isnʼt the only way to get from top to bottom. When the snow's gone, the focus changes from two feet to two wheels - and bikers hit the lifts for hours of pedal-powered downhill fun.

Tear up seven miles of killer views, hills, and turns on our paved loop trail, or feel the thrill of biking through wooded areas on our other paved trails. And if you're up for some serious adventure, leave the pavement behind with our 32.5-mile network of marked trails, including everything from broad carriage paths to singletrack. Remember your map, and keep an eye out for the wildlife along the way - or they may just try to join the fun.

Rental Bikes and Carts

Boyne Country Sports at Boyne Mountain has rental bikes for all ages and types of biking, as well as electric carts for touring or sightseeing the resort property. Check out this Boyne Mountain Trail Map to get a look at all of Boyne Mountain's mountain biking trails and paved paths. 

Bike Rentals (through October 15)

Additional Nearby Trails

North Country Trail

Additional cross country mountain bike trails are located in close proximity to Boyne Mountain. There are two access points to the North Country Trail suitable for biking within 10 minutes of the resort. The North Country Trail stretches from Maine to North Dakota and the section near Boyne Mountain is maintained by the Jordan Valley 45° Chapter.

Little Traverse Wheelway

The Little Traverse Wheelway offers fantastic views of Little Traverse Bay and easy access to the quaint downtown districts of Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Bay View and Harbor Springs as it winds 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs.

Boyne Highlands Resort

Boyne Highlands offers a variety of biking options, from leisurely paths to cross country trails and Michigan's only lift served Bike Park complete with berms, jumps, and stunt features.
