At Boyne Mountain, skiing isnʼt the only way to get from top to bottom. When the snow's gone, the focus changes from two feet to two wheels - and bikers hit the lifts for hours of pedal-powered downhill fun (available with Scenic Chairlift Ride).

Electric Bike Rental

Add a little power to your biking experience and enjoy the freedom to go further. Take off on a  brand new Pedego Comfort Cruiser or rent a Pedego Trail Tracker - an electric fat tire bike! You heard us right...these bikes feature state-of-the-art geared motors to allow you to effortlessly float over virtually any terrain. Six levels of pedal assist emulate a very natural riding experience with a twist-and-go throttle for full power on demand. You can even charge your phone while you're riding the trails!

If you're up for some serious adventure, leave the pavement behind with our network of marked trails, including everything from broad carriage paths to singletrack. Remember your map, and keep an eye out for the wildlife along the way - or they may just try to join the fun.

Experience the extra grip and traction of fat tires. These bikes are designed to go where even the best MTBs struggle.

Bike Rentals Bike Rentals

All bike rentals are now offered through the Adventure Center! Boyne Mountain has rental bikes for all ages. 

Mountain Bike rentals are no longer available for the 2017 season, but riders can still choose from our Electric Pedego bikes and Fat Tire bike rentals.

Nearby Trails Nearby Trails

Many paved and cross country mountain bike trails are located in close proximity to Boyne Mountain.

North Country Trail

There are two access points to the North Country Trail suitable for biking within 10 minutes of the resort. The North Country Trail stretches from Maine to North Dakota and the section near Boyne Mountain is maintained by the Jordan Valley 45° Chapter.

Little Traverse Wheelway

The Little Traverse Wheelway offers fantastic views of Little Traverse Bay and easy access to the quaint downtown districts of Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, Petoskey, Bay View and Harbor Springs as it winds 26 miles from Charlevoix to Harbor Springs.

Boyne Highlands Resort

Boyne Highlands offers a variety of biking options, from leisurely paths to cross country trails and Michigan's only lift served Bike Park complete with berms, jumps, and stunt features.
