Farm-to-Table Fridays 9/25

We are taking your traditional Farm-to-Table dinner and adding a few twists. Instead of just taking the vegetables off the farm, we are bringing the farmers from Bluestem Farm to your dinner table. Farm-to-Table Fridays is a celebration of fresh produce, local meats/fish, and BEER! So not only will we prepare your farm fresh entree in front of you at our Everett's Action Station, but Short's Brewing will be here to pour you a beer while we cook it. Each participant will also receive a Day Pass to Solace Spa, valued at $35!

In a nutshell...Bluestem Farm + Short's Brewing Company + Boyne Mountain = Farm-to-Table Fridays!

First Course 

Farm Fresh Salad - mixed greens, marinated tomatoes, onions, crostini, green goddess dressing

Paired with Local's - American light lager

Main Course

Seared chicken from Ottos Farm in Middleville, MI, lemon grass, mint jus, roasted garlic whipped potato, zucchini

Paired with Noble Chaos - Oktoberfest/German-style amber lager

Dessert 

Chocolate Bourbon Cake with bourbon caramel

Paired with Woodmaster - American brown ale with toasted pecans and maple syrup

As a certified organic farm, Bluestem Farm practices managed intensive rotational grazing and uses zero chemical inputs. The Browers are proud to offer their members and customers certified organic vegetables and plentiful, varied diets straight through both the gorgeous summers and long winters of northwest lower Michigan.
