Streamers for Trophy Trout

1:00pm to 6:00pm

Tommy Lynch, aka The Fish Whisperer, will be here crankin' out his signature pattern, the Drunk & Disorderly, and talking about all things trout.  It is believed by some that somewhere in Tommy's genome is brown trout DNA. This guy lives, eats, sleeps, and breathes fly fishing...his main pursuit, Salmo trutta, the elusive brown trout.  However, Tommy has plenty of experience in pursuit of other game fish on the fly as well.  If you want to learn a few advanced tying techniques, as well as how to tie a one-of-a-kind streamer, check out this class!

  • Time:  1-6pm
  • Cost:  FREE!  However, class size is limited and an RSVP is required.  Please call 231.549.6064 to reserve your spot!
  • Experience Level: Advanced
  • Required: Vice, tools, materials. Suggested materials list available upon request.

Tommy Lynch owns and operates The Fish Whisperer Guide Service where he guides on the wild & scenic Pere Marquette River.  Tommy has guided on the 'PM' for 20+ years specializing in the pursuit of brown trout and steelhead on the fly.  Tommy's big fish obsession keeps him chasing the largest brown trout across the midwest at any given time of year...in the winter, it's on Arkansas' White River; in the summer, it's waking mouse flies in the dead of the night; and in the fall, it's stripping big streamers for large, aggressive territorial trout!  Tommy lives in Baldwin with his wife, Andrea, and his two sons, Thomas Patrick Lynch III & Alexander.
