Boyne Mountain Offers Ski & Splash Spring Break Fun and a Whole Lot More

BOYNE FALLS, Mich. - You don't have to leave the state to find great family-inspired spring break fun!  At Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, you'll discover fantastic conditions on the slopes, and plenty of action and warmth inside Avalanche Bay, Michigan's largest indoor waterpark, where it's always 84 degrees.  But the fun doesn't stop there.

In honor of spring break, Boyne Mountain rolls out a jam-packed schedule of fun for two weeks, March 28 through April 13.  Resort lodging guests can enjoy time together during the daily complimentary horse-drawn wagon rides, bonfires and s'mores, family movies, and storytime with Fritz, the St. Bernard mascot of Avalanche Bay.  In addition, there's live music, ziplining, Michigan beer and wine tasting for adults, food and beverage specials, spa, and spring skiing and snowboarding.

The main attraction indoors is Avalanche Bay where there are rides, slides and thrills that appeal to the whole family.  The park's four-story interactive play structure, kids pool, lazy river, downhill mat racer, activity pool, Vertigo and Super-G tube slides, and surfing wave, provides the kind of fun that leaves kids worn out far before bedtime.  And while at Avalanche Bay, be sure to experience the park's newest attraction, The Big Couloir, an extreme body slide that's the first of its kind in Michigan.  The ride features a launch capsule with a trapdoor that propels riders at G-force speeds throughout the 360 degree SuperLOOP.

Boyne Mountain is open for skiing and snowboarding through Easter Sunday, April 20, weather permitting. Slope hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.  Spring lift ticket rates range from $20 to $39 and kids, ages five and under, ski and snowboard for free.

Spring Break Packages for a family of four starts at $207 per night and includes lodging at Boyne Mountain and Avalanche Bay admission starting at 4pm on day of arrival. A hot and delicious breakfast buffet can be added for only $12 per person.  Ski & Splash Packages also available.  For reservations, call 800.462.6963 or visit
