Resort Life's a Beach

Category: Local Area

We find ourselves to be extremely fortunate here at Boyne Highlands, due to the fact that we are approximately 15 minutes from multiple beaches, lakes, and even a breakwall. We are unique in the fact that you can play where you stay and also experience our local area's fun and exciting activities. There's nothing like relaxing on a sandy beach and taking a refreshing swim in Lake Michigan. While staying at Boyne Highlands Resort you should really take advantage of all the different beaches that are located for your convenience.

Petoskey State Park: This beautiful beach is located on the north end of Little Traverse Bay and is situated on 303 scenic acres. Relax and enjoy a beautiful sandy beach on the bay and even play some beach volleyball while you're at it. If you're lucky you may even find a Petoskey stone!

Petoskey Breakwall: A unique landmark is the breakwall located in Petoskey, right next to the gorgeous waterfront. This area is home to multiple activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, and if you are risky enough, jumping off the breakwall into Lake Michigan!

Zoll Street Park: Discouraged because you can't find a beach for your furry friend? Look no further, because Zoll Street Park located in downtown Harbor Springs allows you to bring your dog and have some fun together on the beach and in the water!

Zorn Park and Beach: This gem is located right in the heart of downtown Harbor Springs and is full of fun activities for the whole family. A gigantic raft is centered out into the water for anyone to jump off or to even watch as the boats leave the harbor. Picnic areas surround the sand and don't fret, because life guards are always on duty during the day.

Looking forward,
